Hey y’all!  It’s a little late for “Spring cleaning” but, I thought now is just as good a time as any to talk about revamping my little living room! It was well past time for a face lift! Spring & Summer bring new life into the world and so what better opportunity to revamp your home, and bring a little something NEW into your life?

My husband and I moved into our home almost a year ago and many changes have happened since the big move. We painted, redecorated, bought a few new pieces of furniture and A LOT of DIYing along the way & its finally starting to come together!! I could not be more excited! I shared our bedroom with y’all a few month back and now its on to the living room.

I am no Joanna Gaines but she definitely gave me the inspo I needed to step out of my comfort zone and just make our house a home! She is pretty great isn’t she!? What I would give to have her talents but we take what we can get right? okay enough rambling and onto our new and improved living room!

Okay so we had this horribly ugly Lovesac that my husband bought in his bachelor days. Its extremely comfortable, but not something I would ever let anyone see. It was like our deepest darkest secret that we even owned the thing and kept it hidden up stairs. As I was doing my daily Pinteresting I came across a Lovesac that I could handle it was white, fluffy and perfectly my style. I went to the link and found that the cover was $2000 ( like what!?) two GRAND seriously!? There was NO way i was gonna pay that much so the little wheels in my head started turning!!  I We bought the fabric and my mom helped me sew the cover to perfection, I am officially obsessed. ( aren’t moms the best i have no idea what I would do without her and her many talents!)

We picked up our adorable tufted couch from Ashley furniture and I got that amazing rug for $25, yup I said $25 it was the deal of the century! My grandma picked up my coffee table from a garage sale, it was a horrible brown color but thanks to Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Country Gray & Paris Gray we made it beautiful! All of my pillows on the Lovesac are from Homegoods ( my all time FAVORITE store in the history of ever!) The silver metalic pillows on the couch were on sale at target for $13 a piece as well as the lamp that we got when we got married, gotta love target!  I got that huge, gorgeous, wonderful TV hutch for a whopping $50 and painted it with Annie Sloan Paris Gray Chalk Paint, I seriously LOVE that stuff! The Clock came from Americas Mart, but similar ones can be found at Homegoods!

I just love how my living room redo on a budget turned out, and can’t wait for my next project. I hope y’all are having a wonderful Bachelorette filled Tuesday night. Cheers to girls night! LOVE Y’ALL!

xoxo

Amanda
